Class of 2018 running back Master Teague chose to commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes on Sunday afternoon. The Murfreesboro, Tennessee native announced the move in a video on his personal Twitter account.

Teague was pursued by a variety of SEC teams including the Georgia Bulldogs, South Carolina Gamecocks and Auburn Tigers. Urban Meyer and Ohio State offered Teague late in the game on June 9 after he attended their football camp, and just two days later, Teague was swayed into being a Buckeye.
This is certainly a tough miss for all SEC schools involved, as Teague is rated pretty favorably. He’s ranked 25th among running backs and is listed as the 14th-best player in the state of Tennessee. There is still plenty of talent (and time as well) on the board, so UGA, Auburn and others still have time to compensate.
