Arkansas Razorbacks running back Rawleigh Williams III has decided to retire from football.
One of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but I'll continue to live by Proverbs 3:5-6. WPS. https://t.co/cD78ATLAzX

Williams had been severely injured in Arkansas’ spring game recently. He had suffered what appeared to be a neck injury and had been carted off the field that day. Unfortunately, that injury has caused him to call it quits and begin focus on the next chapter of his life.
I’m moving onto the next chapter of my life. It’s tough to not be able to play football anymore because I’ve been playing since I was four years old. It wasn’t something I wanted to do or planned on having to do so early. I’ve prayed, listened to my doctors, my parents and my gut.
In his two years as the Hogs tailback, Rawleigh rushed for 1,614 yards and 13 touchdowns, 12 of which came in the 2016 season. He collected a receiving touchdown last year as well and racked up 1,860 yards from scrimmage in his two-year career.
Best of luck, wishes and good health to RW3 in the next chapter of his life.
