Thursday Recap
Only one game was able to be completed on Thursday night as Arkansas-Tennessee was suspended in the second inning due to rain. They’ll look to resume play on Friday and when they do, the Hogs will boast a 1-0 lead at the restart. They wound up getting that one run on a wild pitch.
Texas A&M was able to win the first of three against Mississippi State. The victory pulls the Bulldogs into a tie at the top of the SEC West standings as both are now post 14-8 conference records. The Aggies defeated the Bulldogs 9-2 thanks in large to a grand slam by freshman Braden Shewmake. One of the lone highlights for Mississippi State was this grab by outfielder Tanner Poole.
