After national seeds and regional hosts were unveiled Sunday night, everyone was left in eager anticipation for the unveiling of the 2017 NCAA Baseball Tournament bracket. As the road to Omaha gets underway, 8 SEC schools will be attempting to make the journey, and 4 of those schools (LSU, Florida, Kentucky, and Arkansas) will be regional hosts.

Of the other 4 SEC teams that didn’t host a regional, Vanderbilt was named as a 2 seed in the Clemson Regional, Auburn was named a 3 seed in the Tallahassee Regional, Mississippi State earned a 2 seed in the Hattiesburg Regional, and Texas A&M came in as a 3 seed in the Houston Regional. Auburn and the Aggies both were revealed to have been 2 schools in the last four in.

One notable omission from this year’s bracket is the South Carolina Gamecocks, whose marvelous run to the SEC Tournament semifinals as an 11 seed made many believe that they had bolstered their résumé enough to potentially earn an NCAA Tournament berth. They fell just short, falling into the unsavory distinction of being one of the first four out.

Below is the complete bracket, full with seeding information, records, etc. I—like many others—have already begun filling it out. Be sure to tweet your bracket at me so you can see how much better it was than mine.
