2017 NCAA Baseball Tournament: Eight SEC teams in, schedule, game times

The NCAA Baseball Tournament field was announced on Monday afternoon. Let’s take a look at where and when all eight SEC teams will be playing!

Florida

The Gators enter the Tournament as the SEC’s best-seeded team, earning the third national seed and thus hosting a regional. Their region consists of Marist, Bethune-Cookman, and South Florida.

The Gators will open play against Marist on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.

NCAA Baseball

LSU

The Tigers were the SEC’s other national seed, drawing the fourth national seed. They’ll be hosting the regional and they’ll be joined by: Southeastern Louisiana, Rice, and Texas Southern.

The Tigers will open play against Texas Southern on Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Kentucky

The Wildcats will also be hosting a regional! They’ll be pitted against Ohio, Indiana, and North Carolina State.

The Wildcats will open play against Ohio on Friday at Noon ET.

Arkansas

Rounding out the SEC Regional hosts are the Arkansas Razorbacks! They’ll be hosting Oral Roberts, Oklahoma State, and Missouri State.

The Razorbacks will open play against Oral Roberts Friday at 8 p.m. ET.

Mississippi State

While they’re not hosting a Regional, Brent Rooker and the Bulldogs won’t have far to travel. They’re playing in the Hattiesburg Regional hosted by Southern Miss. South Alabama and Illinois-Chicago round out the field.

The Bulldogs will open play against South Alabama on Friday. The time is TBA.

Vanderbilt

Vandy will be making their way to Clemson, as the Tigers are hosting the regional. They’ll be joined by St. John’s and UNC-Greensboro.

The Commodores will open play against St. John’s on Friday at Noon ET.

Texas A&M

The Aggies were the first of two SEC teams named as the “last four in” on the selection broadcast. They’ll be heading to Houston where they’ll join the Cougars, Iowa, and Baylor in the Regional.

The Aggies will open play against Baylor on Friday at 3 p.m. ET.

Auburn

Finally, the Auburn Tigers are Tallahassee bound. Their Regional consists of Florida State, UCF, and Tennessee Tech.

The Tigers will open play against UCF on Friday at Noon ET.
