Both SEC teams who took the field on Tuesday picked up victories as Tennessee defeated EKU 10-1 while Ole Miss held off Central Arkansas and beat them 1-0. The Vols’ game only went five innings as they poured it on, putting up six runs in the first and scored their next four over the course of the ensuing three innings. Ole Miss on the other hand was deadlocked with Central Arkansas through TWELVE innings before finally getting their first and only necessary run on the board thanks to Miranda Strother.

Today’s softball slate would’ve started at 4 p.m. ET with nine games on the docket. However, inclement weather has caused a bit of a shakeup. Mizzou’s doubleheader with SE Missouri State was postponed, as was Kentucky’s matchup with WKU as well as Auburn’s tussle with Samford.

Thus, we are left with what’s above. The biggest matchup of the day features Arkansas and ninth-ranked Oklahoma going at it as the Razorbacks look to get off the schneid and tag the high-powered Sooners with a loss. Elsewhere, Florida grapples with North Florida as the 4th-ranked Gators aim to keep the line moving and continue their winning ways. The nightcap sees Alabama facing off with Lipscomb and Texas A&M hosting McNeese.
