NFL Draft 2017: Derrick Jones drafted by New York Jets

The sixth round of the NFL Draft has been quite busy for Ole Miss players.

First, DJ Jones was taken 198th overall by the San Francisco 49ers. Then, Derrick Jones was taken 204th overall by the New York Jets.

Jones is the third defensive back taken by the Jets this year. New York also took Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye in the first and second rounds, respectively.

Secondary was a big need for the Jets coming into the weekend.

Jones also played some wide receiver in college.
