The third Tennessee Volunteers player is off the board in the 2017 NFL Draft, as Jalen Reeves-Maybin was just selected by the Detroit Lions in the 4th round!

Reeves-Maybin joins Derek Barnett and Alvin Kamara as Vols who’ve been drafted in 2017 as that draftless streak looks like a complete thing of the past. In addition, JRM is the third player from the SEC to be drafted by the Lions. Florida Gators linebacker Jarrad Davis and cornerback Teez Tabor were taken in the 1st and 2nd round by the Lions, giving them a pretty heavy SEC presence.

Congrats to Jalen Reeves-Maybin and best of luck with the Lions!
