Another Alabama Crimson Tide defensive player goes off the board as Washington has taken linebacker Ryan Anderson with the 49th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Anderson joins his teammate Jonathan Allen in D.C. after Allen was chosen with the 17th overall pick back in Round 1. He’s the second player from ‘Bama to be drafted in the second round as offensive Cam Robinson was taken earlier by the Jacksonville Jaguars. In total, Alabama now has six players drafted this year (Anderson, Robinson, Reuben Foster, O.J. Howard, Allen and Marlon Humphrey).
Best of luck to Anderson in the NFL!
