2017 NFL Draft: Marlon Humphrey Selected by the Baltimore Ravens

Former Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey was drafted at 16 by the Baltimore Ravens.

Humphrey becomes the latest addition to the “First Rounders Society” of Alabama players in the Nick Saban Dynasty, joining Andre Smith (2009), Rolando McClain and Kareem Jackson (2010), Marcell Dareus, Julio Jones, James Carpenter and Mark Ingram (2011), Trent Richardson, Mark Barron, Dre Kirkpatrick and Dont’a Hightower (2012), Dee Milliner, Chance Warmack and D.J. Fluker (2013), C.J. Mosley and HaHa Clinton-Dix (2014), Amari Cooper (2015) and Ryan Kelly (2016).

Saban has done a great job of sending his corners and safeties to the NFL and Humphrey marks his sixth defensive back to be taken in the first round.

He’s also the first Alabama legacy to be chosen in the first round along with his father, former Bama running back Bobby Humphrey.

Congratulations to Marlon and best of luck in the NFL!
