Tuesday will prove to be one of the busiest SEC baseball slates that we’ve seen in some time. 13 of the 14 teams in the conference will be taking the field, some facing lower-tiered opponents while others will be taking on some of the best around.

Several in-state/border rivalry matchups will be taking center stage. To a lesser extent, Ole Miss battles Southern Miss, UL Lafayette faces LSU and Alabama faces UAB. In addition, Texas A&M squares off with Abilene Christian, Auburn takes on Samford, Vanderbilt battles Tennessee Tech, Tennessee faces ETSU and Mississippi State takes on Mississippi Valley State. Arkansas will be facing off with Missouri State in one of the three matchups that aren’t in-state, with another being Mizzou-Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Dare to be different, folks.

The headliners of the night feature Georgia-Georgia Tech and then two Top 25 encounters. Florida will be traveling to Tallahassee to face Florida State in what should be a dandy of a matchup if their last few this season are any indication. The heavyweight fight of the night though is South Carolina-UNC. While these teams couldn’t meet in the National Championship Game in hoops, they will be battling in Chapel Hill on the diamond. The Gamecocks and Tar Heels are ranked 11th and 5th in the country as of writing, so you should expect some fireworks and terrific play when these two teams square off on Tuesday night.

You will be able to catch most of the action tonight as the aforementioned schedule reads. Florida-FSU and South Carolina-UNC will be available via live stream over on WatchESPN and, if you happen to luck out, on the alternate SEC Network. Georgia-Georgia Tech gets the honor of being on the regular SEC Network on Tuesday night.
