March 4 SEC softball schedule, game times, TV coverage, live stream

It’s Saaaaaaturday.

Leading Off...

An extremely active day went down in the SEC.

The day began with Kentucky taking a doubleheader against Northern and Southern Illinois while Georgia handled UNC Wilmington. Arkansas, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Alabama and Tennessee would all pick up wins before the aforementioned Bulldogs (of Georgia!) took the second part of their doubleheader against Central Connecticut State.

Florida, LSU and Texas A&M would then pick up victories, and Missouri wound up being the c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-combo breaker, being the lone team to lose from the conference (to make matters somewhat worse, Oregon opened the new softball stadium in Columbia with a 10-3 win over the Tigers. Certainly not a grand opening).

Mizzou would later avenge the loss with a 14-6 win over Stephen F. Austin, and that loss to Oregon would be the only one taken by an SEC team all day aside from a 6-4 defeat by South Carolina to Northwestern.

Successful day? Successful day.
