The Southeastern Conference will be sending several teams to the 2017 NIT.
The Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels and Alabama Crimson Tide all are in the mix in this year’s edition of the tourney. The Bulldogs and Rebels find themselves in the same region, playing in the Syracuse Quadrant, while the Crimson Tide find themselves elsewhere in the Iowa Quadrant.
Georgia is a 2 seed and will play 7-seeded Belmont on Wednesday in Athens. Ole Miss, meanwhile, is a 5 seed and will take on 4-seeded Monmouth in West Long Branch, New Jersey. The Tide are a 3 seed and will be battling 6-seeded Richmond, hoping not to catch a case of arachnophobia, on Tuesday night in Tuscaloosa.
All games will be available via WatchESPN for live streaming.
