Georgia Bulldogs guard J.J. Frazier and Kentucky Wildcats big man Bam Adebayo are the recipients of this week’s SEC hoops awards.

The ‘Dawgs went 2-0 last week against the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers largely due to contributions from the senior guard. Frazier dropped 28 and 29 points on the Tide and Bayou Bengals, with the latter matching a season-high mark set back on February 11 vs. the Tennessee Volunteers. The Glennville native was exceptional from the free throw line too, making 17 of his 21 attempts.

Bam meanwhile was impactful in aiding the Wildcats to go 2-0 against the Missouri Tigers and Florida Gators. Adebayo dropped 40 combined points in the victories including 22 vs. Mizzou, doing so while shooting 13-for-20 from the field and 14-for-18 from the free throw line. Adebayo also picked up back-to-back double-doubles, grabbing 15 boards in each contest and committed just three turnovers in 70 minutes.
