Daryl Macon earns SEC Player of the Week, Robert Williams Freshman of the Week

Arkansas Razorbacks guard Daryl Macon is this week’s SEC Player of the Week.

Macon played a big role in Arkansas’ 2-0 week over South Carolina and Ole Miss, averaging 21.5 points in the two games. Macon’s career-high 30 points against Ole Miss was the most by any Arkansas player this season. Macon also continued to excel at the free throw line, going 10-11 on the week and bringing his season total to 102-116 (.879).

Texas A&M’s Robert Williams was the Freshman of the Week, after averaging 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game in A&M’s two games this week. He also had six blocks against Auburn to give him 69 on the season, second-most in A&M single-season history.
