Leading Off...

13 SEC teams went to work, 13 teams scooped up at least one victory.

Both Missouri and Florida came away with big wins on Saturday, with the Tigers extracting revenge on James Madison in the form of an 8-4 victory. The Gators meanwhile picked up a dramatic 2-1 win over the highly-ranked Wolverines in 10 innings. Jordan Roberts picked up her only hit of the day in the 10th inning, and boy was it a big one, as she brought Nicole DeWitt home to plate the go-ahead run and UF wouldn’t relinquish the lead in the bottom half.

Elsewhere... lopsided wins were the name of the game for some. Arkansas opened their season winning two games by a combined score of 21-1. Tennessee wasn’t too far behind them (20-3) and so was Georgia (23-3). Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and LSU also picked up decisive victories on Saturday, flexing their muscles over their foes.
