The Heisman Trophy is handed out on Saturday night. It’s not uncommon that it’s going to someone away from the SEC. After all, since 1982, only eight players from the conference have taken the trophy home. Of course, if you’re a believer in quality over quantity, then you’d know that some of the best to suit up in the SEC have won it.

With that in mind, it begs the question: What’s the best Heisman-winning season the SEC’s seen? We took it to task. We grouped together the eight Heisman winners from the conference, and voted to rank them 1-8. Here are the results of that ranking process.
