In the immediate aftermath of Auburn’s SEC Championship loss to Georgia, reports started picking up that Gus Malzahn would possibly leave for his alma mater of Arkansas.
Those reports have been officially put to rest, as Malzahn has agreed to a new deal with the Tigers.

Brett McMurphy added that the deal was seven years.

Malzahn is 45-21 in his time at Auburn and has taken the Tigers to a bowl game in each of his five seasons. They’ll face UCF in the Peach Bowl on January 1.
