Georgia, Oklahoma to meet in the 2018 Rose Bowl in College Football Playoff Semifinal

The ‘Dawgs have to get through Baker Mayfield and the Sooners if they want to play for a National Title.

The Georgia Bulldogs now know their opponent for their 2018 College Football Playoff semifinal.

If the Bulldogs want to compete for their first National Championship since 1980, they must first get through the Big 12 Champions. The Oklahoma Sooners will meet the ‘Dawgs in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The Sooners tout Heisman favorite Baker Mayfield and one of the best offenses in the country.

Roquan Smith, Lorenzo Carter and company will have their hands full, but we’ve seen what they can do at their best. Plus, OU will have to try and stop Nick Chubb, D’Andre Swift and Sony Michel and that Jake Fromm fellow, too.

We’ll have plenty of preview action for you in the weeks to come for this one. It should be a dandy.
