Alabama, Clemson to meet in the 2018 Sugar Bowl in College Football Playoff Semifinal

The Alabama Crimson Tide know their opponent for their 2018 College Football Playoff semifinal very, very well.

If the Tide want to compete for their another National Championship, they must first get through the ACC Champions. The Clemson Tigers will once again meet the Tide, this time in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. In the last two years, ‘Bama and the Tigers have faced off against each other in the National Championship Game. Each side has tallied a win, so we’ve got a proverbial rubber match in store for us in NOLA.

Deshaun Watson is gone, but Clemson’s defense is as fierce as ever. Dorian O'Daniel, Clelin Ferrell, Austin Bryant, Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence are as good as it gets. But hey, y’know: Alabmaa is pretty dang good themselves. But you already knew that.

We’ll have plenty of preview action for you in the weeks to come for this one. It should be a dandy.
