The Georgia Bulldogs have made the College Football Playoff!

For the first time in the Playoff era, someone other than the Alabama Crimson Tide will be representing the SEC. The Bulldogs earned the right to be in the Top 4 following their SEC Championship victory on Saturday over the Auburn Tigers.

The Bulldogs join the ACC Champion Clemson Tigers, who of course won the whole dang thing last year, the Big 12 Champion Oklahoma Sooners and Alabama, who won it all in 2014.

The Bulldogs earned the No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff, and will play the Oklahoma Sooners on January 1, 2018. If they win that semifinal matchup, they’ll head back to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, where they won the SEC, for the CFB National Championship Game.
