How to watch Texas A&M vs. Wake Forest in 2017 Belk Bowl

The Aggies seek their first bowl win since 2014.

Texas A&M will look for their first win in the post-Kevin Sumlin era Saturday when they play Wake Forest in the Belk Bowl at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

It will be the first game between the two programs.

A&M is 7-5 and will need a win to post an 8-5 record for the fourth straight season. A&M will play its first game after firing Sumlin on Nov. 26 following a 45-21 loss at Louisiana State in the regular-season finale. Sumlin complied a 51-26 record, including a 3-2 bowl mark during his tenure at A&M.

The Aggies replaced Sumlin by hiring Jimbo Fisher from Florida State on Dec. 1. Fisher, who was 48-17 with a 2014 BCS National Championship at FSU, will not coach A&M in the bowl game. Jeff Banks will serve as A&M’s interim head coach.

It’s the ninth consecutive season the Aggies have played in a bowl game. A&M is 4-4 in that stretch, including two straight losses (27-21 to Louisville in 2015 Music City Bowl and 33-28 to Kansas State in 2016 Texas Bowl).
