The Alabama Crimson Tide have landed a top running back in the class of 2018, as Florida’s Jerome Ford tweeted Sunday that he was committing to the Tide.

Ford, a three-star back on the 247Sports composite was one of the highest-ranked backs remaining in the class of 2018. He visited ‘Bama over the weekend, and clearly was impressed. Ford joins Slade Bolden as Alabama’s two 2018 running back commits.
Ford had offers from Tennessee, Missouri, Louisville, and a host of other schools.
Ford will be signing this week during the early signing period, per 247Sports.
