The Georgia Bulldogs’ stay atop the of the College Football Playoff rankings wasn’t temporary. In the second edition of the CFP rankings, it’s the ‘Dawgs who are on top again. Georgia’s dominant run continued this past Saturday with their win over the South Carolina Gamecocks in Athens. UGA will have a chance to add to their resume this weekend, as they take on the 10th-ranked Auburn Tigers.
The Alabama Crimson Tide have the No. 2 spot again. The Tide stay in their spot after their win over the ranked LSU Tigers this past Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. They’ll have another opportunity to add a ranked victory this weekend when they battle the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
The remainder of the Top 4 features the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the yet Clemson Tigers again. The Oklahoma Sooners are No. 5 after their win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater this past weekend. The TCU Horned Frogs, meanwhile, hop up to 6th.
