Class of 2018 shooting guard Keldon Johnson committed to the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. Johnson, a five-star recruit and ranked 14th overall in the 2018 cycle, announced his decision at Oak Hill Academy, where he currently attends.

Johnson is the top-ranked player in the state of Virginia and the second-ranked shooting guard behind five-star Romeo Langford of New Albany, Indiana. He joins five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley in what’s sure to be another top-flight backcourt in Lexington next year.

Kentucky’s class ranks 21st in the country and third in the SEC right now behind the LSU Tigers and Florida Gators. The Gators themselves made a move on Friday, getting four-star wing Keyontae Johnson.
