Monday night, ESPN’s Jeff Borzello broke the news that 2017 big man Isiah Jasey had decided on where he was going to play college ball: Texas A&M.
Jasey, a Texas native, is a center whom ESPN has ranked as the eighth-best player in the Lone Star State, also placing him among the top 25 centers in the class of 2017.
Wanna give thanks to god ,Im glad to say that I'm now committed to Texas A&M #TeamAggie @sunrisehoops

The newly-committed Aggie turned down offers from other top-tier schools, including those from a heap of Big 12 teams (Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas, just to name a few).
If 247sports’ Crystal Ball is any indication, college basketball’s recruiting prognosticators certainly did not expect Jasey to elect to spend his college years in College Station.
Isiah Jasey is the second member of Billy Kennedy’s 2017 recruiting class as he joins Lancaster, Texas’ TJ Starks, a three-star point guard ranked in the Top 25 in the Lone Star State, Top 60 at his position and Top 300 nationally. A&M’s recruiting class now ranks fifth in the SEC at the moment and 18th in the country.
