Nick Saban never sleeps, does he? While on a visit to Alabama, four-star offensive tackle Elliot Baker made the decision late last night to commit to the Crimson Tide over the likes of UGA, Oregon, and several others.

Baker becomes the tenth commit for the defending National Champions, and elevates them to the number two class nationally, and the number one class in the SEC, according to 247Sports.
Hank South from BamaOnLine caught up with Baker after he announced his decision, here is some of what he had to say:
“Oh man, it feels incredible,” Baker told BamaOnLine of his commitment. “I’m just really pleased with my decision. I’m happy that I can focus on school and the upcoming season (now).” “Just meeting with Coach (Nick) Saban,” Baker said of when he knew he wanted to give his verbal pledge. “He told me I could sleep on it, but I told him I’m sure. I’m all in. He was really happy. He was excited about it.
Baker also stated that he and fellow Tide commit Alex Leatherwood had been hanging together in recent days and that Leatherwood was a major reason for the timing of his commitment.
As the 2017 cycle continues, Alabama is expected to be just one of several SEC schools to land in the top-ten on signing day. Count on us to keep you posted here at TeamSpeedKills for all the latest in SEC recruiting!
