Introducing Your New Director of Recruiting For Team Speed Kills

The SEC has dominated recruiting for quite some time now. It is now time for Team Speed Kills to do the same.

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

When I first started writing for SB Nation a little more then a year ago, I started with the goal of one day covering recruiting for the SEC here at TeamSpeedKills. Today, that goal is complete. I, Russell Johnson am going to be running things around here in terms of recruiting, for every team. All of them. You can follow my journey on Twitter, @JohnsonERA13.

In my time here, I have built several valuable recruiting contacts and talked with several recruits who are going to make this role more exciting then ever before. I have covered recruiting for a large variety of schools in my time here at SB Nation, from schools in the MAC like Akron and Bowling Green to TCU, and I cannot explain how excited I am to get started here. In my time here I have written for Hustle Belt, Anchor of Gold, For Whom the Cowbell Tolls, and Ralphie Report throughout my time here, and I have learned a ton from each site and fan-base.

Starting Monday, each day we will take a look at a team's current recruiting outlook. From top targets left on the board to verbal commitments already on board if they have any (Looking at you, Vanderbilt) The order of these is still up for discussion, so if anyone has any idea as to how I should determine the order, leave a comment below!

Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, suggestions, or concerns, are looking to help or just to say hello!

I am going to leave no stone unturned in terms of recruiting for the Southeastern Conference, period.
