The SEC; has once again dominated the NCAA Softball Tournament bracket as the conference will be sending 11 teams to represent the field in this year's edition.
Alabama, 2016 SEC Tournament champion Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M comprise the group of SEC squads who will look to do damage in this year's NCAA Tournament. The conference has made an impact recently as Alabama and Florida have picked up three National Championships since 2012, with the Gators holding claim to the last two. The No. 1 seeded Gators will seek their third consecutive National Championship this year and will hope to make their fourth straight Women's College World Series and eight since 2008.
Eight tames - Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, and Tennessee - were able to earn national seeds and as a result will host games at their respective stadiums. The Gamecocks, Rebels and Aggies meanwhile will have to try to make the WCWS while battling on the road.
