NFL Draft 2016: Malcolm Mitchell selected by the New England Patriots

Georgia's stout wide receiver is headed to the Pats.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Versatile Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell is the newest member of the New England Patriots.

The Patriots used their fourth round choice, pick No. 112 overall, on Mitchell who amassed over 2,300 receiving yards while in Athens. He scored 16 touchdowns and also spent time as a kick and punt returner for the Bulldogs and should emerge as a threat for his new team if things play out right.

He became the third Bulldog to be drafted in the 2016 NFL Draft joining teammates Leonard Floyd and Jordan Jenkins.

Best of luck to Malcolm Mitchell at the next level!
