Texas A&M's run on offensive linemen continues as Germain Ifedi joins Cedric Ogbuehi, Jake Matthews and Luke Joeckel as first round offensive linemen int he last four years, as the Seattle Seahawks used their No. 31 overall pick on the A&M offensive tackle.
The Aggies now have had a player drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft in each of the last six seasons as Ifedi's pick may have made TAMU fans sweat. But, in any event, the streak lives on, and Ifedi heads to one of the best organizations in the National Football League.
Ifeid will be tasked with protecting Super Bowl champion QB Russell Wilson on a retooling offensive line. Nonetheless, John Schneider and the Seahawks' brass believes in the A&M lineman enough and he's got the talent to make it happen.
Best of luck to Germain Ifedi at the next level!
