Welcome to Around the SEC, your daily source for all things SEC on the SB Nation network.

NCAA Football: Mississippi at Arkansas Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Thursday and welcome to Around the SEC!

News has been mostly quiet in the conference outside of the award winners being revealed yesterday. No surprises were to be found there however, so we couldn’t even spend time arguing about them. Bummer eh?

But today’s a new day, so who knows what could happen!?

NCAA investigation not affecting Ole Miss target (Red Cup Rebellion)

A bit of good news? A five-star running back isn’t fazed by the lengthy investigation into the Ole Miss football program (which has been going on for five - count ‘em - five years).

Reuben Foster was a one-man wrecking crew (Roll ‘Bama Roll)

The Alabama linebacker stomped a mudhole into Florida and walked it dry.

Another day, another recruit for Tennessee (SB Nation)

A day after landing the top recruit in the country, Tennessee strikes again in the recruiting realm. The Volunteers scored a top-flight linebacker who was pursued by several other notable teams, including ones from their very own conference.
