The Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl participants were announced earlier today in part with the Top 4 of the College Football Playoff.
The Alabama Crimson Tide will tangle with the Washington Huskies of the Pac-12 Conference on New Year’s Eve later this month. And already, it seems that the Crimson Tide are receiving lots of love.
Per LV Super Book, the Tide open as a 14-point favorite over the Huskies.

Alabama -14 vs Washington
Ohio State -3 vs Clemson
This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to the gambling world. The Tide have been the best team in the country so far by record and most metrics, so the fact that they are a two touchdown favorite in the Peach Bowl seems reasonable. Especially considering the fact that it will feel like a home game with the distance between Tuscaloosa and Atlanta being a mere 202 miles on I-20.
Entering Saturday’s championship game the Tide were 8-4 against the spread. Alabama would bowl over Florida by the score of 54-16 to prop that mark up to 9-4 in the 2016 season. Going into Friday’s Pac-12 Championship Game the Huskies were merely 6-6 ATS this season. UW would win 41-10, and thus tally their seventh win of the season against the spread.
