Well then. The Georgia Bulldogs got some big gains as they look towards next season on Thursday. The ‘Dawgs will be maintaining the presence of running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel as well as linebackers Lorenzo Carter and Davin Bellamy.
The news was announced at a press conference on campus in Athens on Thursday evening. It had been teased, and Logan Booker of Cox Media Group threw the report out there on his personal Twitter account.
Sources: A press conference shortly will announce that both Nick Chubb and Sony Michel will be returning for their Sr. seasons at #UGA.

The news is both a bit unexpected and terrific for Georgia. After a disappointing season in 2016, they will still have the presence of some of their best players next year, especially so in the form of Chubb and Carter.
With the third-ranked recruiting class in the country, there will be plenty of talent on the Bulldogs in the 2017 season as Kirby Smart will get another shot to do it right.
