SEC Bowl Projections After Week 11

The Theme of the Week is Consolidation

NCAA Football: Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl-Houston vs Florida State Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

With two weeks of the season to play, the bowl picture is becoming more clear. With few exceptions, the picks of our contributors are very similar throughout the bowl matchups.

At this point, Missouri is still the only team with seven or more losses and the SEC could end up with a total of 12 teams with at least six wins. South Carolina and Kentucky should become bowl eligible this week against FCS foes while Ole Miss can also get their sixth win with a victory over Vanderbilt. If the Commodores win, they keep their chances of six wins alive but a loss gives Vanderbilt seven losses.

Mississippi State needs to win their remaining games against both Arkansas and Ole Miss to keep their bowl hopes going. If Mississippi State and Vanderbilt both win their remaining games, that would knock Ole Miss out of eligibility.
