Point spreads were revealed for most of Week 7’s action on Sunday afternoon. SEC games weren’t excluded from this recurring event, and two big games this weekend were featured.

In the case of the matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Tennessee Volunteers, Alabama opened as a 9-point favorite. In about a day, the odds were bumped up to 13 points in the favor of the Crimson Tide. Despite it being a road game this marks the second time that the Crimson Tide are double digit favorites against their opponent after being 13-point favorites over Arkansas. The Tide of course covered that spread as they won 49-30 over the Hogs. ‘Bama is 4-2 against the spread this season while Tennessee is a hearty 3-3.

The other matchup that will receive plenty of attention is Ole Miss-Arkansas. For the second straight week, the Razorbacks are underdogs despite playing at home. Ole Miss opened as a 6.5-point favorite in the matchup, but the line bumped up to 7.5 and 8 points in some locations. So far to this point, Ole Miss is 3-2 ATS while Arkansas is less successful, checking in at 2-4 ATS.
