It looked like the early games for the SEC would be something slow and uninteresting. And while it's not uncommon for teams to occasionally struggle with mid-major or FCS teams for a quarter or two, at some point it was evident that the game between Jacksonville State and Auburn wasn't going according to play.
It's time to seriously worry about Jeremy Johnson. He threw another awful INT in which he clearly didn't see the defender.

I had assumed I could ignore Auburn-Jacksonville State. This was incorrect

How bad does this make Louisville?
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Jacksonville State, down three, is driving in the fourth quarter. To SEC Network for most of us. To the liquor cabinet for Auburn fans

"There's something wrong with Jeremy Johnson and his ability to read coverages." What was your first clue?
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Just a reminder: Jeremy Johnson had 10/1 odds to win the Heisman on 7/7, and 12/1 odds on 8/18.
Hope ya didn't take that.

Auburn is being haunted by the ghost of Jefferson Pilot.
— David Wunderlich (@Year2) September 12, 2015
Auburn needs a touchdown. To force overtime. At home. Against Jacksonville State
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
FLORIDA SEC EAST CHAMPS 2015 THE CURSE IS GONE AND IT'S AT AUBURN NOW WOOOOOOOO
— David Wunderlich (@Year2) September 12, 2015
If Auburn by some miracle gets the win here, who gets the game ball?
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
At least we're paying him to do this to Auburn. RT @DanWolken: Two SEC programs are currently paying Will Muschamp millions of dollars.
— David Wunderlich (@Year2) September 12, 2015
JSU gets the fumble, leading Auburn by seven with three minutes left
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
OVC, could we interest you in a trade? We have a lightly-used Vanderbilt, and I'm sure Derek Mason would welcome a move
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Auburn gave Jacksonville State $525,000 (plus 900 complimentary tickets) for the privilege of having their season ruined.
— Michael David Smith (@MichaelDavSmith) September 12, 2015
I love how CFB fans outside of the SEC think the rest of the SEC wants Auburn to win.
— Poseur (@ATVSPoseur) September 12, 2015
You had 39 seconds and a chance to set up a field goal with two or three quick shots. Playing with house money. Why?
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Auburn will be ranked on Sunday, but it shouldn't be.
— Hugh Kellenberger (@HKellenbergerCL) September 12, 2015
I’ll go further: Anyone who ranks Auburn in any Top 25 poll tomorrow should have their ballot taken away
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
I look forward to the SEC Storied on Auburn's miracle victory over Jacksonville State
— Doc Harper (@doc_harper) September 12, 2015
Note: For those who don't know, the Doc is a great blogger for us at Arkansas Fight. So, this was perhaps ill-advised.

And Arkansas trails Toledo 9-7 at the half. This is not a baseball game
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Arkansas and Auburn, y’all aren’t exactly doing a lot to help tamp down the “down time for the SEC” narrative
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Bret Bielema said Arkansas has 8 ranked SEC teams on schedule. Toledo was not one of them
— Brett McMurphy (@McMurphyESPN) September 12, 2015
Can’t really blame Arkansas. Everybody knew these West teams would beat up on each other. We just didn’t know MAC West was part of that
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Two of Toledo's best players aren't playing.
— Doc Harper (@doc_harper) September 12, 2015
BREAKING: Sources tell us that Bret Bielema was kidnapped and is being impersonated by John L Smith in disguise
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
If this game doesn’t change, the only explanation is that someone at Arkansas ordered an airstrike on a mirror factory five years ago

— Bunkie Perkins (@BunkiePerkins) September 12, 2015
Toledo does the smart thing: Takes the safety and will lead 16-12. Arkansas to get the ball back with around 50 seconds
— Brandon Larrabee (@TeamSpeedKills) September 12, 2015
Allen misses. Toledo beats Arkansas, 16-12
