SEC Lunch: Delicous SEC Selections from Around the SB Nation

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Catching you up on some of the best stuff around the SB Nation about the SEC

The Plot Thickens: No Active Investigation on Manziel: This is a fascinating development in the Manziebilia story. This raises as many questions as it does answers -- too bad the reporter on the original story didn't seem to realize that -- including whether the use of "active" is a semantics game, why A&M and Manziel are lawyering up if there's no investigation, etc. There's also the possibility that the lawyer is flat-out lying. I'm not sure who I trust more in a debate between Joe Schad and Manziel's lawyer, but things are looking less clear-cut than they did a few days ago. [Good Bull Hunting]

Auburn football preview 2013: Catching up on Texas A&M with Good Bull Hunting: Apparently, the Aggies will also play football this year. [College and Magnolia]

2013 Season Preview: Georgia at Tennessee: Your first instinct in seeing a Georgia blog predict a beatdown of Tennessee by 22 points might be to say, "come on," but on second thought, it's really not that unreasonable. [Dawg Sports]

South Carolina Football 2013 Opponents Preview: Clemson Tigers: The battle for the fast-food restaurant trophy I refuse to acknowledge could come down to Clemson's defense. [Garnet and Black Attack]

ATVS Roundtable: 2013 Schedule: September's no cakewalk, but it might be November that decides LSU's fate. [And the Valley Shook]

TCU's Gary Patterson: Comments weren't shot at LSU: Aw, y'all, Patterson didn't mean nothing by it. [SB Nation]

GBH Letters #2: Pepsi will not carry Coke-flavored Pepsi at Kyle Field: Hysterical. [Good Bull Hunting]
