SEC TV Schedule, Week 9

This is easily the worst week of SEC games in weeks.

Jeff Blake-US PRESSWIRE

GAME OF THE WEEK

South Carolina at Missouri, Saturday, 7:00 pm ET, ESPN2

It's the only matchup of ranked teams in the conference, so it's an easy game of the week pick. Can Missouri continue to handle prosperity? Which South Carolina team will show up? Who wins the backup QB duel between Maty Mauk and Dylan Thompson? It should be a good game.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24

Kentucky at Mississippi State, 7:30 pm ET, ESPN

I am not sure what ESPN was expecting out of this when it made it the featured Thursday night contest, but it's better than no football.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26

Vanderbilt at Texas A&M, 12:21 pm ET, SEC Network

Who is in danger of the bigger letdown? Vandy, after an emotional win over Georgia, or Texas A&M, after an emotional loss to Auburn? If the Aggies lose this one, it will just throw further doubt on whether the conference truly has more than one or two really good teams anymore.

Tennessee at Alabama, 3:30 pm ET, CBS

Can Tennessee hold it together after last week's big win and not completely roll over on the road against the SEC's best team?

Furman at LSU, 7:00 pm ET, PPV

Get ready, folks. The late season cupcake rounds have begun.

FAU at Auburn, 7:30 pm ET, FSN

If the Owls were one of those sneaky-good mid majors, I might look for Auburn to stumble after picking up the W against Texas A&M. The problem with that is that FAU is awful.

Idaho at Ole Miss, 7:30 pm ET, CSS

Is this a good enough sign that the Rebels' schedule is taking a turn for the lighter side now?
