Alabama 45, FAU 0

S.C. State at Texas A&M, 7 p.m. ET, FSN: Bulldogs head coach Buddy Pough's first college job was working for Lou Holtz at South Carolina. Texas A&M 35, S.C. State 3

South Alabama at Mississippi State, 7 p.m. ET: It's a good thing this game is being held in Starkville, or it might have sparked the great portable seat controversy all over again. Mississippi State 50, South Alabama 10

Akron at Tennessee, 7:30 p.m. ET, CSS: Guess who's their head coach? Tennessee 48, Akron 14
