SEC Television Schedule, Week 7

The season is hitting its midpoint with an interesting set of games. Last week went a long way towards determining the pecking order within the league, and this week will continue to do so.

The Gamecocks are in the game of the week for the second week in a row. Can LSU bounce back at home after a tough road loss? Can South Carolina continue its success through its October gauntlet and validate its top five ranking? It should be a good one, and Death Valley always rises to the occasion at night. LSU still controls its own destiny in the league, and therefore national title, race after all.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13

Auburn is back looking bad again after losing badly to Arkansas, while Ole Miss let a golden opportunity slip away against Texas A&M. Now, this looks like it could be a battle to stay out of the West cellar on the year.

With as beat up as Missouri is right now, there's little hope that this game will not be over by halftime.

Florida picked up a big win over LSU, but it's going to be a challenge to stay focused on the road at Vandy. Trust me, I've been there. It's an easy place to have a let down game.

Now that Arkansas might have righted the ship, it has to prove it's not a fluke by winning a game it should be able to win over Kentucky.

I've seen a lot of talk lately that Mississippi State might begin the year 7-0. This game is the biggest obstacle for the Bulldogs to get there. Tennessee, meanwhile, is hungry for its first SEC win and can't be counted out against an MSU team that hasn't been tested much yet.

Aside from Florida, Louisiana Tech is the best team A&M will have faced on the season. It looks a lot bigger now than it would have back in September with both teams ranked.
