We have a couple of good games, an old rivalry, and a decent trap game on this week's slate. There's intrigue in every time slot.

If South Carolina wins this game, it will have critical tiebreakers over both of the other two division contenders. If the Gators win, it puts the Gamecocks in a hole and opens the door for Georgia to possibly take the division lead a week later. There's a lot rising on this one.

It's a classic offense-versus-defense battle in Aggieland, which should provide for excellent contrast. Texas A&M didn't pass its first big SEC test, but that was its first game of the season. We get to find out this weekend how much they've grown since then. LSU, meanwhile, must keep vigilant and not fall into the trap of believing that one win over South Carolina alone saved the season.

Vanderbilt is a touchdown favorite in this one as of the time of posting. Things have fallen that far on the Plains. This particular matchup brings memories of 2008 to mind, a season in which Vandy beat Auburn and went bowling while the Tigers did not.

It's hard to recommend watching this game if you're not a Georgia fan.

You laugh, but Middle Tennessee hammered Georgia Tech earlier this year. It also lost to McNeese State and ULM, so the Bulldogs have no excuse for not winning.

This will be ugly, but at least the schedulers managed to put The Third Saturday in October on the third Saturday in October.
