Kentucky Vs. Arkansas Preview: Because Once the Games are Scheduled, You Have to Play Them

No one really expects either of these teams to be very good. But the formality of the game must go on

A year or two ago, Fox was supposedly going to try putting mood music in the background of an NFL football game. This was a game that was not widely broadcast and was rightfully dismissed by many as a publicity stunt, so I'm not sure what happened to it. But if we want to try the idea again, this might be the opportunity to do it -- might I suggest the score of the Keystone Cops?

Actually, that's not entirely fair to Arkansas. The Hogs might not have much to show for it, but their offense is actually not that bad aside from having the 107th-ranked rushing attack in the nation. Kentucky is bad at pretty much everything -- passing, rushing, scoring. Stopping the other team from passing, rushing, scoring. Most of the things we associate with playing football.

Still, when two teams come into a game with a combined record of 3-9, you're not really looking for good football. Perhaps you're just looking for a game to fill the gap between the ones you really want to watch. But there have to be better options.
