Ballotry: C&F's Half of the SEC Power Poll Ballot

1. Alabama
Whenever one of your opponent's stat lines if 1-of-10 for 0 yards, you're doing something right.

2. LSU
A well-deserved break after the Oregon game and before the first SEC game of the year with Mississippi State.

3. South Carolina
Can you at least try to play some pass defense?

4. Arkansas
At some point, we'll have a reason to rank them here or somewhere else.

5. Florida
At some point, we'll have a reason to rank them here or somewhere -- oh, look at who they're playing this weekend.

6. Tennessee
Tyler Bray has been special against week competition -- just like he was last year. This weekend gives him a chance to prove that he can be special against an SEC rival, too.

7. Auburn
That was an exciting game. But if you give up that kind of yardage to Alabama or LSU, they will slaughter you.

8. Georgia
The Eastern Division Bulldogs took a South Carolina team returning almost everyone from the defending SEC East championship squad to the wire. The Western Division Bulldogs took an Auburn team returning almost none of the major players from a defending national championship squad to the wire. I'm going with the former.

9. Mississippi State
We now return you to your regularly scheduled SEC West mediocrity, already in progress.

10. Vanderbilt
Yes, it was a depleted UConn football team playing FBS football without Randy Edsall for the first time every. But ESS EEE SEE! ESS EEE SEE! ESS EEE SEE!

11. Ole Miss
Haven't really done anything to earn being this low. But they also haven't really done anything to earn being any higher.

12. Kentucky
Break 30 against a MAC or Sun Belt team and we'll be impressed.
