Thanksgiving Day 2011

There are a lot of ways you could go about a post like this. You could go the tried and true route of listing all the things you're thankful for, or all the things you're thankful for about each SEC team. Or you could try to pick out one thing in sports for which you are particularly thankful, which would be pretty obvious for SEC fans who have watched a nearby conference tear itself apart because of rules that treat some members differently than others.

Those who have followed my writings over three blogs and several years know that I am a Christian, and so I'm being completely serious when I say that I believe God has blessed me with this site, and all the experiences that have come along with it. I have been blessed with a great co-manager in Year2 and a great group of colleagues across SB Nation, from those who contribute here from time to time to those who work on other blogs.

And each of you that takes five minutes or so out of your day to read one of our posts or to comment on an item are a blessing as well. Well, most of you. (I kid.) Even when we disagree, and in some cases especially when we disagree, I am truly thankful to everyone who has helped this site continue to grow simply by being around.

So a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families and friends. There's plenty to be thankful about for all of us this year.

But we're thankful about -- and to -- you.
