Last Week: 6-1 straight up, 5-2 against the spread
Season: 64-15 straight up, 36-30-1 against the spread
All SEC teams (-) over all I-AA teams 4X - 1X
Let's just save some time here. I'll take all four SEC teams playing I-AA opponents to win by 30 or so points, give or take a touchdown depending on whether the coaches treat the contests as a glorified practice or a pinball game. You know who is going to do what.
Georgia (+30.5) over Kentucky 52-10
I was going to pick UK to cover up until I sat down to write this picks post, actually. I thought UGA was going to take it easy and coast to the win. However it occurred to me that with the SEC East title officially theirs with a victory, the Bulldogs are probably going to make this about as emphatic as possible. It's been six years since their last division title, and with this game being in Athens, it's going to be a three-hour party.
Arkansas (-13.5) over Mississippi State 34-17
I thought about going with the underdog covering here too, but Arkansas will have to score some serious style points to think about making a big move in the polls. I'm not sure they'll get them, but they'll probably cover.
Vanderbilt (-1.5) over Tennessee 24-21
If I knew Tyler Bray was playing, I'd pick the Vols. As I don't, I'm going with the Commodores. In Neyland. With bowl eligibility on the line for both teams. Good heavens.
LSU (-30) over Ole Miss 40-6
If the Rebels had any kind of pulse last week, I'd pick them to cover the spread. Instead, I think they're in "the season can't end soon enough" mode.
