Live-Blogging Derek Dooley (aka 'Not Lane Kiffin')

9:48 a.m. CT -- He thanks the media. Yep, he's a Nick Saban guy.

9:49 a.m. CT -- "This has been a tough couple of years for our fans." But that was all part of the plan. Oh, I'm sorry, that was the last Vols coach.

9:51 a.m. CT -- Ma Dooley: "She's become an icon." Her process is: "Speak first, think second."

9:53 a.m. CT -- Pa Dooley: "Give me some time, we'll get him in the orange."

9:56 a.m CT -- More Pa Dooley: "I would be a fool if I did not reach out to him."

9:58 a.m. CT -- On playing Saban: "It's no different than playing your friends in backyard basketball." Except your friends don't have laser eyes that will incinerate you if you win.

10:01 a.m. CT -- On discipline: "We've got a lot of bulletproof issues. We've got a lot of entitlement issues." Anyone who played with Nu'Keese Richardon did kind of need to be bulletproof.

10:08 a.m. CT -- Doesn't like my question about not being Lane Kiffin. Moves on.

10:12 a.m. CT -- Talks about team hearing from third head coach in as many years. Teams take on the personalities of their coaches. "We got a little Sybil in us right now." Coach Dooley -- mental health advocacy groups, line one.

10:21 a.m. CT -- The Georgia game? "I did leave Georgia when I was 18 years old. People want to forget that."

10:23 a.m. CT --Worried about agents like he's worried about drug dealers. This has been a great week for the reputation of agents. The next thing you know, they'll be compared to bank executives.

10:25 a.m. CT -- "I didn't evaluate the job that Lane did."
