Here's our first report of Oklahoma going to the Pac-10 for sure from someone other than Chip Brown. Berry Tramel of the Oklahoman is reporting that an OU source has told him that the Sooners will hitch the schooner and go west after Texas makes its official announcement on Tuesday. The cause was, of course, Nebraska's defection to the Big Ten.
As for the others, Tramel says that Oklahoma State, if given a choice, will follow wherever Oklahoma and Texas go. Texas Tech's Board of Regents has a meeting scheduled for 2:00 Central on Tuesday, three hours after Texas's Board of Regents meets. It sounds like Tuesday afternoon is doomsday for the Big 12.
Still no word on Texas A&M.
