Live-blogging Urban Meyer

1:25 p.m. ET Meyer takes the podium 45 minutes late. For the last coach of the day, this actually seems prompt.

1:26 p.m. ET Meyer jokes about "the misperception that I'm the guy that didn't vote for Tim Tebow." The joke falls flat; you can literally hear a single, half-hearted "ha."

1:29 p.m. ET Might know by the end of the week if Riley Cooper is coming back.

1:30 p.m. ET He blames the Tebow joke on Pat Dooley.

1:31 p.m. ET Under center: Meyer said he's not hearing the concerns about that from pro coaches. If there's a good tailback, they'll do it if it helps win the game. "I assure you, him playing under center has nothing to do with his draft status, [according to] the programs that we've talked to."

1:35 p.m. ET Impact of Dan Mullen leaving? He says there's no one playcaller at Florida, but it is a concern.

1:37 p.m. ET Calls the reports on his supposed leaving despite a denial "disturbing."

1:38 p.m. ET Does Meyer want to play a big team outside the SEC? He says they do that with Florida State. "Our scheduling philosophy is we want to play at least one big-time opponent out of conference every year and that's built into our schedule."

1:39 p.m. ET Meyer admits to doubt after the clubbing at Alabama in 2005.

1:44 p.m. ET Did the arrests blow-up serve as a wake-up call? "I think so."

1:48 p.m. ET Annoying or bad habits that Tebow has? "There are some, Meyer says, without identifying any."

1:52 p.m. ET He says that at least 1/3 of the team's plays in BCSNCG in 2006 were from under center.

1:53 p.m. ET Brandon Spikes was supposed to help Tebow represent Florida here, but begged off from shyness. "Nothing wrong with Brandon Spikes. He's just shy." Ryan Stamper takes his place.

Meyer is done. Tebow will come to the podium.
