Roger Goodell has ruled out a rookie pay scale in for players drafted in 2010 -- something that was expected to prompt more junior defections this year. Whether this has any impact on Matthew Stafford, Knowshon Moreno or Tim Tebow (and, yes, he's mentioned in the piece) is up for debate -- particularly since, as some have pointed out, Tebow is unlikely to be a high pick anyway; he might go higher as a TE, WR or FB than QB, but he still won't be a very high draft pick. But one wonders if it could cause a similar wave of potential defections ahead of the 2011 draft.
